Navigate to Settings > Personal to manage your personal settings. These changes do not affect other users. Personal settings has two pages: General and Notifications.

General

The General page combines your profile (including phone number), password, display preferences, and company membership in one place.

Profile

If your name is currently set to your email address, update it to personalize your experience.

Password

Click Send password reset email to receive a reset link at your registered email address. If your account uses single sign-on (SSO), password resets are not available — contact your IT administrator.

Display preferences

Control how values appear across the platform.

Companies

The Companies card lists every company you have access to, along with your role (Admin or Member). When you belong to an organization, its name appears in the card description. Click Open company settings on any company row to switch to that company and open its settings.
Company membership is read-only here. To change your company assignments or role, ask an organization admin.

Notifications

Open Settings > Personal > Notifications to choose how you are notified, which sites those alerts cover, and whether you receive an email digest. You can also open your notification inbox from the bell icon in the sidebar.

Notification preferences

Control how you receive notifications for each category. For every notification type you can enable or disable:
  • In-app — see a notification in your inbox (accessible via the bell icon in the sidebar)
  • Email — receive an email when the event occurs (available on native Nectar workspaces only; white-label workspaces show in-app toggles)
Notifications are grouped into categories:

Notification scope

Choose which sites you want alerts and digest emails for. You can pick site tags, individual sites, or both, for the company you are viewing.
  • Leave both fields empty to get alerts for every site you can access.
  • If you pick tags and sites, Nectar combines them, then keeps only sites you can access.
  • Alerts for work you started yourself (exports, imports, invitations) always reach you, even for sites you did not select.
  • Most other alerts — connection errors, anomalies, digest topics, and data-gap alerts to connection data owners — only reach you for the sites you selected, by email and in your inbox.
  • If a teammate includes your email on a data-gap alert, you still get the email even if that site is not in the list above. You get an in-app notification only when the site is in that list.

Email digest

The email digest is available on native Nectar workspaces only. Subscribe to a sparse email that lists only topics that meet your thresholds for the current company. If nothing qualifies, Nectar does not send the email. Configure:
  • Subscribe — turn the digest on or off for the current company
  • Frequency — weekly or daily
  • Send time — when the digest should send (and weekday when frequency is weekly)
The digest uses the same site selection as your other alerts. Immediate emails still send when they occur; the digest does not replace them.

Tips

  • Use Save changes to apply updates.
  • Use Reset to discard unsaved edits on the current form.
  • If you change your display preferences, refresh active pages to confirm formatting updates.
