Rate Schedules & Tariff Analysis

Inland Power's C&I rates are demand-driven above 50 kW. The General schedule energy rate ($0.089/kWh) is higher than the Large Commercial energy rate ($0.0725/kWh), but Large Commercial carries a $559/mo fixed service charge, so the crossover favors larger, steadier loads. The $9.58/kW demand charge applies once demand exceeds 50 kW, making peak management the primary lever for cost control.

Inland Power & Light Company Rate Schedule List

ScheduleApplicability
General CommercialCommercial members generally under 50 kW; $0.089/kWh.
Large CommercialCommercial members above 50 kW; lower $0.0725/kWh energy with $559/mo service.

Inland Power & Light Company Rate Features & TOU Details

  • Demand charge of $9.58/kW applies on demand over 50 kW for both commercial schedules
  • Large Commercial trades a high fixed charge ($559/mo) for a lower energy rate ($0.0725/kWh)
  • Irrigation classes use seasonal energy pricing (lower May-Sept, higher Oct-April)
  • All rates effective April 1, 2026 and set by the cooperative board

Inland Power & Light Company Data Access FAQ

Can a third-party energy manager pull our commercial usage data automatically?

No. Inland Power has no public API, Green Button, or aggregator integration. A third party must obtain the member's written authorization and either receive exported SmartHub data manually or negotiate a custom data-sharing agreement with the cooperative's business services team.

Does Inland Power support Green Button for C&I accounts?

No. Inland Power is not Green Button certified and offers neither Download My Data nor Connect My Data. Interval usage is viewable in SmartHub charts, with downloadable CSV limited to hourly resolution since January 2024.

What interval granularity is available for commercial meters?
