Challenge

Rate schedules, riders, and time-of-use periods are too complex to review account by account.

Solution

Once 12 months of data are in, Nectar reviews every electric and natural gas account against the available rate schedules, models each change with its assumptions, and submits and tracks the rate changes you approve. A historical bill audit recovers overcharges and missed tax exemptions from up to 36 months of past bills.

Nectar analyzes interval data, where available, for peak periods, demand charges, and load factor, sends demand alerts, and models peak shaving, load shifting, and on-site battery storage. Rebates, incentives, and demand response programs are identified and applied for with your approval.

Nectar connects to 7,000+ utility providers and collects new bills automatically, with interval data where the utility provides it.

2.Parse and validate every bill

Usage, demand, rate schedule, riders, and charges are extracted at 99.2% line-item accuracy and checked against history and the applicable tariff.

3.Benchmark cost, demand, and intensity

Compare sites on cost, usage, demand, load factor, and energy intensity, and see which charges drive spend on each account.

4.Find rate, demand, and supply savings

Tariff opportunities, demand spikes, supply contract variances, and billing errors are flagged for review with the supporting bills attached.

5.Act and measure results

Approve rate changes, procurement, and projects, then track results against a weather-normalized baseline. Ask the AI agent questions in your own words, with every answer citing its source bills.
