The analog meter problem is real, and iqbi is good at it

A meaningful share of European building stock is still metered by equipment that predates any notion of an API, read manually on a schedule that suits the grid operator rather than the reporting calendar. Collecting from that estate is genuinely hard, under-served, and not solved by having more provider integrations.

iqbi has specialized there, and if a large fraction of your assets sit behind analog meters or legacy infrastructure in continental Europe, that specialty is worth more to you than global breadth. It is also worth noting that iqbi is larger than Nectar by headcount, so this is not a case of a smaller vendor with a narrower product.
